Balakot is a city in Mansehra District within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The city was destroyed throughout the 2005 Kashmir earthquake, however was later rebuilt with the help of the Authorities of Pakistan and Saudi Public Help for Pakistan Earthquake Victims, a Saudi reduction organisation.
